“The Blowing Rock” is the oldest attraction in North Carolina. It’s named so because it’s said that you throw something light off the rock, it will either float or return back to you. This phenomenon is due to a flume being formed from the rocky walls of the gorge. When when wind sweeps through with enough force, it can blow light objects back.

Tweetsie Railroad is a family-friendly Wild West adventure featuring a historic steam locomotive, live entertainment shows, classic amusement rides, gold panning, and Deer Park Zoo.

Mystery Hill is an indoor-outdoor family attraction that features a natural gravitational anomaly. Visitors can also explore the Hall of Mystery, axe throwing, bull riding, and gem mining.
