About

Welcome to the 2025 MASBio Annual Meeting at NC State University. Join us in Raleigh, North Carolina, from October 7–9 for the Mid-Atlantic Sustainable Bioproducts & Bioenergy Consortium (MASBio) Annual Meeting—an interdisciplinary conference exploring the past, present, and future of biomass innovation. This year’s theme, Biomass for Value-Added Products: Legacy and Future Pathways, celebrates five years of MASBio’s groundbreaking work in feedstock optimization, sustainability, workforce education, and rural economic development.

The event brings together researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and educators to exchange insights, foster new collaborations, and explore opportunities for advancing the bioeconomy across the Mid-Atlantic region. Don’t miss keynote sessions, interactive panels, poster presentations, a bioenergy field tour, and more.
