Environmental Co-Stewardship Map
This project provides a living, scalable map of actors working on wildfire resilience and broader environmental co‑stewardship across our pilot landscapes. A “landscape” is a connected ecological and community region spanning multiple jurisdictions (e.g., watershed, fire‑prone ecoregion) where coordinated stewardship matters.
Users can inspect organizations, the partnerships (e.g., collaboratives, plans) they participate in, their geographic scope, and where funding and effort are concentrated or dispersed. The system summarizes the diversity of actors involved in the wildfire crisis and supports three core tasks: (1) identify potential partners, (2) detect gaps or overlaps in activity, and (3) track investment and coordination across landscapes.
We begin with two pilot landscapes in Montana and Idaho and will expand as validated data becomes available.
