Annie Izod

Annie started working on the wildfire project in the Fall of 2012. Since then she has worked on identifying responder networks in Montana and developing questions for the upcoming pre-fire survey.  Annie has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Virginia Tech, and a Masters of Public Administration from Virginia Tech. She is currently a PhD student in Public Administration at NC State. Her current research focuses on community capacity and collaborative networks, and public service motivation. Before entering the PhD program at NC State, Annie was a senior policy analyst at the US Government Accountability office in Washington, D.C. for over 7 years and also worked as a qualitative research analyst at Duke University.
