Participate to increase your awareness of the usefulness of Prescribed Burn Associations in overcoming obstacles to burning. Prescribed burning is a critically important tool for management of rangelands. Presenters will address the reasons why landowners do not burn and how to overcome those obstacles. They will propose that Prescribed Burn Associations (PBA) can be an effective means of overcoming barriers to burning. Participants will learn how to start a PBA in their area. PBA guidelines and examples leading to the formation of statewide associations will be provided. This webinar is sponsored by the USDA NRCS Central National Technology Support Center.
