Department and Foundation Mourn the Passing of Robert G. Hitchings

Robert G. Hitchings passed away May 5, 2014 at the age of 91 in Manassas, VA.  He was a Professor of Pulp and Paper Technology at NC State University for 33 years, retiring in 1987, and a long time member of TAPPI. Professor Hitchings was a dedicated classroom teacher, impacting the lives of over 620 students…
