Phillips Family Leadership Incentive Announced

The Pulp and Paper Foundation & College of Natural Resources at NC State University is pleased to announce the first recipients of the Phillips Family Leadership Incentive. This unique program was made possible by a $1 million endowment from the Richard and Mary Phillips Family.

The endowment creates $20,000 awards to recognize paper science and engineering students in the Forest Biomaterials department who have demonstrated extraordinary academic achievement, leadership and service, and who have expressed a strong interest in business and professional success.

The Phillips Incentive will allow the recipients to pursue a minor in business from the Poole College of Management at NC State University in addition to their Paper Science and Engineering degree.
