Spring Cookout!

TAPPI SPRING PICNIC

It’s an end of semester tradition in Paper Science: the TAPPI Spring Cookout. To celebrate the last day classes, faculty and students gather across the road from Biltmore on Schaub Lawn for food and fun. After a cold (and even snowy!) winter, everyone was glad to spend an afternoon out playing in the sun. While the burgers and dogs were grilling, many played corn hole or tossed Frisbee, and after lunch, a rousing volleyball match was begun. In all, it was a great ending to a fun semester and the perfect break before starting to study for finals!
