Freshman Orientation

The College of Natural Resources had it’s freshman orientation June 25-27.  Yesterday and today, Paper Science & Engineering hosted its 41 **NEW** freshman!  These students are remarkable and we cannot wait to have them back in August!  They learned many new things about NC State & CNR, scheduled their classes for the fall, met tons of new people, made new friends and of course, had some special time with PSE!  The students came back to Pulp and Paper Labs to enjoy an egg drop competition.  Three of our seven teams were able to spare their egg, dropping it three floors with only 1 piece of poster board and 4 feet of masking tape!  We enjoyed dinner together as a group and then they were off to learn more about college life!  As a faculty and staff, we are SO Excited to welcome these new faces to PSE!!!
