{"id":91,"date":"2024-05-01T17:26:59","date_gmt":"2024-05-01T17:26:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.cnr.ncsu.edu\/iswfpc\/?page_id=91"},"modified":"2024-12-16T19:29:38","modified_gmt":"2024-12-16T19:29:38","slug":"submissions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.cnr.ncsu.edu\/iswfpc\/submissions\/","title":{"rendered":"Submissions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abstract Submissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Learn about the newest innovation through research insights and discoveries by exploring the abstracts from our brilliant conference researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abstract submission opens <strong>November 1, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract submission deadline <strong>January 7, 2025<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract acceptance notification <strong>February 14, 2025<\/strong><br><br>If you require a <strong>letter of invitation<\/strong> to obtain a visa for travel to the United States, please contact <strong>Janice Sitzes at jdsitzes@ncsu.edu<\/strong> once you have submitted your abstract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abstract Submission Guidelines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You may submit up to three (3) abstracts; all abstracts must be submitted at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to create a Brickyard account to log in and complete your submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time of submission, be prepared to provide the following for each abstract:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presenting author first name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenting author last name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenting author email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenting author affiliation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenting author country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenter status (e.g., student, postdoc, professor, industry, government)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentation format preference (oral, poster)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributed session<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Title (25 word maximum)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abstract (250 word maximum)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keywords (3-5 keywords)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload a one-page abstract in PDF format, including the title, all authors (names and affiliations), abstract, keywords, and others if needed. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abstract Submission Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the abstract submission page, click on the green Submit Abstract button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <br><a href=\"https:\/\/reporter.ncsu.edu\/#\">ISWFPC Abstract Submission 2025<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/reporter.ncsu.edu\/img\/Questionnaire_REPORTER$Images$questionnaireIncomplete_2.png?638640996324639151\"><br><br>to complete the abstract submission questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When you have finished answering the questions and uploading your abstract pdf, click the green Submit button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be sure to click on<br><br>I have read and agree to the <a href=\"https:\/\/reporter.ncsu.edu\/#\">cancellation\/refund policies<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the green Proceed to Order Summary button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/reporter.ncsu.edu\/link\/PurchaseMembership?groupID=G43\">Submit an Abstract<\/a><\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Abstract Submissions Learn about the newest innovation through research insights and discoveries by exploring the abstracts from our brilliant conference researchers.
