Candice Bodkin

Candice Bodkin began working with the FireChasers in the summer of
2012 as a research associate. She assists the team with
field research, project management, and data analysis. She is
currently a PhD student in the Department of Public Administration at
NC State. Her research interests include community organization and
involvement, teacher recruitment and retention, and capacity building
efforts in low-income schools. She holds B.A.’s in Anthropology and
Political Science, an M.Ed in Social Studies Education from The
University of Florida, and an MPA from NC State University.
