Jon Barley

Jon is a current Master of Public Administration (MPA) student and began working for the Fire Chaser’s project in 2021. Before coming to NC State to finish his B.A. in political science, Jon spent almost a decade working for the outdoor outfitter REI, including a two year stint in Alaska. Jon’s research interests are centered on climate change adaptation and mitigation, with a focus on transportation and energy infrastructure, environmental policy, and the intersection of science, technology, and public policy.
