About

The Fire Chasers Team has been researching wildfire since 2008.  Our primary goal is to better understand how adaptive capacities such as communication efficacy during incidents relates to more disaster resilient communities.  We have conducted field research in Montana, Idaho, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming working with Type I Incident Management Teams, local cooperators, local US Forest Service representatives, and local communities during large wildfires. This site features our research, our team and how you learn more about what we do if you are interested in joining us.
