Environmental Science Major, Leonie Graser, had a 4 month internship in Ludwigshaven, Germany. Besides adventuring in Southern Germany, she spent her time in the eco-toxicology department and worked with pollinators.

Jenn Smith, a Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology major, spent her summer in Battle Ground, Indiana, where she interned at a canid conservation center called Wolf Park. This internship helped ensure Jenn that this is where she wants her life to go.

Jordan Diard, a Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management Major, interned at the Bradford, a wedding venue in Chatham County. This experience allowed her to gain valuable social media marketing skills, which she can transfer to future careers.

The Sustainability Department of Organic Valley

Sustainable Materials and Technology major Emma Rioux spent her summer interning at the Sustainability Department at Organic Valley, where her mission was to contribute to the strategic plan by creating a more robust waste minimization program. She also was able to collaborate with other departments to put on events such as a company picnic and river cleanup.
